The Lieb Family Cellars winery in Long Island has issued two "commemorative" bottles of wine in benefit of the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
The 9/11 wine, a merlot and a chardonnay sold for a price of $19.11 has met the approval of the 9/11 Memorial fund, with 6 to 10% of sales going to the charity. Apparently 9/11 Memorial Foundation board member, Monica Iken first approached the Lieb Family Cellars winery about creating a commemorative wine.
Do you think 9/11 commemorative wine is disrespectful?
